Wethele Manor Wedding Photography - Jessica & Angus

Wethele Manor Wedding

My first wedding of the year, which filled me with both great excitement and nerves after a three month break from shooting. Luckily that was calmed somewhat by the fact I'd met these guys before for their SNAP & CHAT shoot at the venue, Wethele Manor, so I knew the layout and we'd chatted lots about the day itself.

The day started and Jess's parents house where her and her lovely bridesmaids munched on croissants and prettified themselves for the day, and Jess even fitted in some time to cuddle her beloved cat too! Once I arrived at the venue I met with the boys (I had to work very hard to tell Angus and his twin brother apart all day..!) who were greeting their guests ready for the ceremony in the converted barn venue. After the ceremony we got a tiny window for outdoor confetti before the rain started forcing the guests to mingle indoors. One trend I am really hoping picks up this year is having a magician to entertain people during the reception! I loved the guy these two had and some of the reaction photos are brilliant.

After some delicious grub and speeches (in which Angus' brother proceeded to bring out many medals to prove his superiority as the better twin.. and drink red wine out of a trophy) the dancing started in the hidden room attached to the marquee. I loved this idea of opening up a new room for the band. As you can see at the end of this the dance floor got pretty wild.. :)

Thanks so much for having me as part of your day!
