Wedding in an Aeroplane Hanger

"I could not recommend Florence enough. This woman has captured our day in the most perfect light and bought all the happiness back in her beautifully taken photos and video. She was a joy to work with and have with on the day - discrete yet warm and friendly to everyone. She is a fantastic photographer!" Lucy & Angus

These guys were so much fun from the get go. I rocked up in the morning and slotted straight in with Lucy and her lovely bridesmaids (in their matching PJs!) drinking tea (for me - Prosecco for them obviously!) and enjoying the anticipation and excitement that always comes the morning of a wedding. I love love love that Lucy wore an ethical wedding dress created by one of her friends, made in bamboo, which she looked absolutely gorgeous in, as well as some flowers in her hair.

After a church ceremony in the village they took a vintage car to Angus' Mum's house where there was a big stretch marquee (over an aeroplane hanger!) for all their guests to enjoy some bubbles and nibbles in the sun. Well, Lucy and Angus took a vintage car.. their guests took a tractor and trailer!

After a few speeches outdoors in the sun we all moved inside where Lucy gave an absolutely brilliant speech (genuinely one of the best I've heard all year!) in which there pretty much wasn't a dry eye in the house. After feasting it was definitely time to party and boy do these guys know how... make sure you go to the end of the post to see some of their dance floor antics!

I had my ace second shooter Faye Greene with me on the day too meaning that Angus and his boys didn't miss out on any prep photos, and they got a loads more lovely guest candids too while I was filming.
