Pimhill Barn Wedding Venue in Shrewsbury

This was SUCH a colourful day! I knew as soon as I turned up and one of the colour schemes was mustard yellow plus Claire was in a super cool 50s style dress that I was going to love this day. And the fact that it was probably the wettest wedding I’ve shot this year didn’t matter one tiny bit. In fact, I’m a bit of a fan of the brolly shots we got!

Pimhill is a gorgeous venue that used to be 5 mins from my house and I always have a great time there. These guys went above and beyond to make sure their guests had the best day ever – they even made all of the games you see in the photos by hand including a personalised guess who where they dressed up as the characters – so brilliant. Plus the had a ceilidh which everyone knows is my absolute favourites, followed my a fantastic 50s rock band too!

I had the awesome Faye Green shooting alongside me on this day to help me when I was filming their little highlights video – and she was a super star as always.

“We absolutely love the photos and the video. As you know we avoided watching the video whilst on our honeymoon but when my gran went in to hospital, I sent it over so that she could be shown it. You actually capture a bittersweet moment of her telling me that she had been so worried that she wouldn't make the wedding and that she was so glad she had. So thank you.

We've watched the video so many times and love all the moments you captured in the photos especially the vibrancy of colour. It looked just how I saw the day and we will have memories forever.”
