Engagement Shoot at Victoria Park, London

Oh it’s good to be back! I’ve been working away behind the scenes with lots of rescheduling, some business photography (over on my commercial site!) shooting a few mini weddings and catching up on some blogging. But now is the time for all my snap and chats as well! Like these guys, who I met in London (Victoria Park near their flat in Bow) to give them a change to get in front of the camera before their wedding day next year.

I love these as it gives me a change to meet all my couples before the wedding; meaning I am well on my way to becoming a friend and not just a scary person they employed to take half decent photos of them. I’d actually met Alex before when he was dressed up as a town crier (don’t ask!) at a mutual friend’s wedding.. but needless to say I didn’t actually recognise him when we met int he pub before hand in his ‘normal’ get up…

These two were so naturally couply together I really had a very easy time of it! Although I’m happy to give a little direction to couples who are self-confessedly awkward I’ll never put people in poses - however these guys just seemed to know exactly what to do!
