Styled Wedding Shoot at the Morris Hall, Shrewsbury

As I've recently moved to  back to Shropshire I am so keen to meet other weddings suppliers in this area, and get accustomed to some of the venues locally too. I liked the Morris Hall immediately because of it's history and it's proximity to my house (10 minutes!) and it seemed like a great place to host my next shoot based around British style. 

These guys had a wonderful celebration bringing together their family who travelled from across the globe to celebrate with them. I loved the mixture of Swedish and English being spoke throughout the day!

Although I'm Shropshire based and love shooting in the countryside for the most part, I also jump at the chance to photograph a wedding in the big city. It's always so different to what I'm used to - much more pressure, much more travelling and usually so many more people!

As someone new to shooting in the Midlands, Shustoke Farm Barns was on my 'to shoot' list and as soon as the lovely Charlotte Eagles from Electric Blue Photography asked me to second shoot with her I jumped at the chance! The gorgeous barn wedding venue has olive tress in the court yard and boasts lots of exposed beams and beautiful backdrops for photographs both inside and in the fields outdoors. 

Relaxed Shropshire Wedding Photographer travels to Manchester!

I was absolutely honoured to photograph the beautiful wedding between my two friends up in Manchester last month, especially as it's was a most intimate affair with only 3 guests! After their short but lovely ceremony at the registry office we went to one of the best coffee houses in Northern Quarter for a strong coffee, followed by a celebratory lunch at their favourite restaurant - Rudy's Pizza!

I met these lovely guys at the Walcot Wedding Fair a few months back and instantly loved their natural, seasonal blooms. This year I really want to get into making short, relaxed promotional videos for small business and for my first one I'm going to be doing just that for these lovely folks.
